Plus Carbon

Nordic Pure Pleated Plus Carbon air filters come in MERVs 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15. These standard pleat furnace filters control both odors and dust particles. MERVs 7, 13, 14 and 15 feature a pleated, electrostatic MERV layer, plus a flat layer of polyester media. MERVs 8, 10 and 12 Pleated Plus Carbon consist of a durable non-woven polyester base media. Infused with charcoal, our filters provide triple the carbon media while maintaining excellent air flow. Nordic Pure carbon pleated furnace filters collect lint, pollen, smoke particles, virus carriers, bacteria, mold spores, and more. Our filters also remove airborne chemicals produced by household cleaners (VOC’s). 

 This high-performance filter will outperform non-electrostatic fiber-glass, washable, and poly disposable filters. Not only will your HVAC systems run efficiently, but you’ll be saving money, too. We use a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame to make our Pleated Plus Carbon filters, with a metal mesh grid for added support. Our AC filter media prevents the growth of bacteria or mold, creating a healthier living environment.

Changing your furnace air conditioner filters on a routine basis will ensure clean air in your home or office. We recommend changing your air filter every 3-6 months to maintain unit efficiency
